This is Jason Mortzen with IQGeo and I wanted to give folks an update on some enhancements that came to the IQGeo platform over the last couple of releases focused around some new functionality for forms. You can actually always do a lot of work in forms in IQGeo and but we wanted to produce some enhancements while the same time moving some configuration and other control over the functionality around forms out of out of JavaScript into a config based UI. I've got a form up here already. This is actually more of an old school style form, which you can still of course do with IQGeo, where you could have lots of different fields. So a structured data model added to to any environment, whether it was INS, Network Manager, IQGeo platform, or or anything else. The idea was always that you could have that structure of the data and then do some layout things like put things onto tabs or have them pop out and of course you've got pick lists and links to other things adding photos. This is all functionality that was in there already. But from a layout perspective, you basically would just decide on kind of an order of the fields and which ones are going to be shown, which ones might be mandatory or read only. That was a great starting point and still is for IQGeo forms. But what I wanted to showcase here was a little bit of what things look like with the new style form. And I put together a quick vegetation management example. This one is configured to pop out. That really helps us be able to work with the layout functionality to put things side by side or onto different tabs. Themeans Continue, Title, and another measurement component features roughly many different aspects of whether it's mandatory or whether it's mandatory. On this particular part of the form here, you can see we have a mandatory field right now for workability and a read only field for workpoint notes. over to something else, like go to mowing, then workability becomes optional. Because maybe with mowing, you don't have to fill in workability. But if I pick something like hand cutting, then it is required to determine whether you need different elements of workability. That applies as well for things like the read-only notes. So now if I said, well, this one is a lift, I maybe don't have to have a note for that one. But if I say other, then I do have to have a note for that one and the read-only goes away. You could also decide that that was going to be mandatory or not as well. This field visibility is also quite useful for fields that you might want to expand down below. It could be things like the simulated data grid, or it could be things that we want to ask a series of questions only if we answer the first one, like group one is always shown, but then you only show group two if group one has been filled out. In this case here, I could say, hey, I want to add in an image in here. And then once I get the first image, it's going to ask me for another one. This also though, has some more options available to it, which we've added recently to add multiple images in a different style as well if you don't want to have them put into their own individual fields, which can still be useful. But you can have more of a bulk upload or bulk, I want to take just a bunch of photos. That's available through some new attachment functionality that we've also added in to the IQ Geo platform. But I could go through and complete this form and obviously give it things like geometries. It's going to have, you know, you could still have JavaScript tie-ins if you need to populate things that are nearby or to keep pulling things out of having to do JavaScript. But this was something that really improves the IQ Geo form functionality just through simple configuration, which I'll show by flipping over to my website for configuration. So this is the same field, set of fields on the feature that I had called a veg inspection point. And we can see this is where we would set up as usual, the default values and pick lists and things like that associated with the structure of the data model. But now we've had an enhancement to the layout tab that gives us a lot more control over this. We can decide how wide we want an editor to be and whether it should pop up or be embedded. We can control more information about the tabs. In this particular tab on the first one, you can see where I had set up which ones go on to a new row versus one side by side. You can also control other things that I showed during the demonstration and some things I didn't show like validators, which is how we control which pick lists should be shown based on those other pick lists that might be might be picked. But if I go down here into the work info tab, we can see the behavior that I showed in the demonstration where we only wanted to see certain aspects of the work info tab. The visibility of work type was controlled once work required was set to true. And the workability was set to be mandatory if it was something other than mowing. And notes were marked to be read only, only if the workability was set to other. This really gives you dynamic control over exactly how you want your forms to show up, be laid out and control based on what you've inputted in other parts of the form. You can always drag new things over into the form over here on the right hand side, just like you always could. And then and then these these layouts are stored in the database so that you can deploy them very quickly for online and offline use. We've got some more exciting changes coming up towards the end of the year. So stay tuned where we're going to keep working on some, some, some other convenience features and advanced features for forms.
