Network Manager Telecom connecting REST services feature. 

So for this video we're going to show you how to connect an Esri REST service to your database. So first off you'll need a REST service publicly accessible is always best when connecting these to the database. In this example I'm going to use Michigan. This is just a general publicly accessible REST services URL here that I'm going to be using for this example. So let's go into first off data sources. We'll need to add this data source by clicking add new at the top right. We'll name this. I'll just name this Michigan. Type will be Esri and the URL only goes up to these services. Nothing beyond services in the URL goes into this field. Yeah. So in Michigan here, even though we're doing Michigan, we're going to only go up to the services. Portion of the URL test that test is successful. If you do add Michigan or anything past this, the test will also be successful, but it won't bring in what you need. So let's just use that. And this is a map server that we're going to be using here and save that. And now we'll go to configuration, go to features, and now you'll see Michigan here. This is the data source that I entered. And we have those features by clicking import. Those are going to import here. And while those are imported, I'm going to jump back and go into layers to start creating a Michigan layer to add all of these maps to. So click add new. Again, I'm just going to type Michigan. Let's do the parcel maps. So Michigan parcel. I generate a quick code there. And the data source here is defaulted to my world, but we want to use Michigan. And here is where we will figure out which map we want to use. Doesn't look like it. It looks like I went a little bit too quick here. And it didn't give me, it's not giving me all of the maps because it hadn't finished uploading. So I'm just going to restart this portion. And Michigan. And now it's giving me all of those maps because it finished importing those. So I'm going to go to Michigan boundaries, test that, test successful, and save that. And I'll go to features up at the top left. And this is where I will decide which of those maps are going to go into this layer I've created. I'm going to use parcels. Actually, let's put in counties as well. Let's do that and save. And now that we have that layer created, we want to make sure that layer is accessible by going to applications. This is the application I'm using, Network Manager Telecom. And I need to scroll down and just make sure that that is now part. By selecting that, that's now part of this application. So it's visible and accessible with the application. Accessible with the application. And that's it. So now I'm going to jump back into this application that I've added it to. And I have a bunch of junk testing layers that I've been adding. Let me just clean this up really quick. Don't mind me. And we're just going to add that Michigan parcel layer here. And you'll see immediately those counties pulled up. And we're just going to zoom in a little bit. So these counties, you can select those. See all that beautiful attribute information. And the parcels, I believe, are set to only appear if you zoom in a little bit further. And those parcels start showing up. And those parcels start showing up. And those are also selectable. So I can select those. And you'll get an option counties or parcels because both of those layers are overlapped. I'll select parcel here and I get all of that beautiful detailed attribute information as well. And this is all live streaming. So anything that happens in the REST service is going to also show up here.
