Here we see the process for a design engineer
starting a new design within Network Manager.
This begins with creating a design boundary.
In the background,
you see all streets and addresses populate in the interface.
After creating the boundary,
you name the design in the left panel and set the design state.
Then create a workspace and select the rules for this design.
Now select the rule set that applies in your area.
With these rules already defined,
this can be done without having to consult a colleague.
Now you see Network Manager extracting
data to populate the workspace.
It also automatically processes trenches,
lead-ins,
and crossing locations through the Comsof Fiber algorithm.
This prepares the data for the calculations you'll want to run.
You can now also zoom to a more detailed view of the design data,
which is all part of our easy-to-use interface.
