Hi,
I'm James Wheatley,
Head of Product Management for IQGeo. I'd like to give you
a flavor of some of the benefits of the new Network
Manager Telecom editions to explain how they can help your
organization with your fiber network management challenges.
All three of the editions are built on Network Manager Telecom,
which uses open source technology to provide an
easy to use web based user interface that makes
it very simple for users across the organization,
all the way from the senior management team to the
operations teams out in the field to understand
and update the data about your network.
So with the Insight Edition,
we've created a package solution that will allow you to document
and manage your fiber network from the inside plant equipment
all the way through the outside plant to the termination points
of your network,
whether they're residential,
commercial premises,
or indeed whatever endpoint your network supports.
So the Insight Edition allows you to replace the spreadsheets,
the KML files,
the Visio diagrams,
and other disparate files
so that your entire fiber network is now available in a single place.
The Professional Edition takes this stage further
and provides a fully configurable solution,
allowing you to extend Network Manager with new features,
modify the application's behavior,
and control the look and feel of the user interface and the map,
for example.
And finally,
the Enterprise Edition is a fully customizable
solution that is able to be tailored to specific
needs to meet complex business requirements,
complex workflows,
and the integrations that are required to support
those workflows that often require very specific
APIs to accommodate existing system landscapes.
So regardless of the addition of Network Manager with new features,
this provides a geospatially based network inventory,
allowing you to seamlessly share the critical data
about your network across your organization and support
those key workflows for both office and field workers,
all based on a single source of truth.
